The Formal Methods Update Meeting 2018 will take place in BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus from 19th and 21st July 2018.
Due to various activities happening in the campus, it is not possible to provide accommodation in our guest house. So we have blocked ten apartments in a nearby hotel (Ocean View Goa). Each apartment has two bedrooms (3000 per day including taxes). Transport between this hotel and campus will be arranged. However, we have hostel rooms inside the campus for students and research scholars.
The BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus, is about 10 kms south of Vasco-da-Gama railway station, 20 kms north of Madgaon railway station and 5 kms east of Goa Airport. The best option to reach the campus is to hire a taxi (there are no Uber and Ola services available). See the link How to reach BITS for the fare from various places to the campus. There are a few buses which will stop at the campus, but most local buses stop nearby (MES college stop) and one has to walk two kilometers to reach the campus.
It is monsoon time in Goa and it rains heavily during the month of July. It is a good idea to carry an umbrella or wear a raincoat. Despite the heavy rains, life never comes to a standstill in Goa! The temperature is warm in general (Weather in Goa).
